When I discovered that 9 out of 10 people who die from suicide suffer from diagnosed or undiagnosed mental health disorder and 80% of those who die from suicide give definite warning signs I knew I had to help! That's why I created a fundraiser to support The SAM Foundation, an organization that works to give people the skills to intervene in suicidal crises and shatter the stigma around mental health conditions. These donations enable us to provide trainings, workshops, and programs at a minimal or no cost to our community and make our community more suicide safe - and you can be a part of it!
