Golf Tournament

Join us on October 9 for a Charity Golf Tournament benefiting The SAM Foundation! The SAM Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that provides suicide prevention training and public awareness throughout Alabama. Our team educates community members on how to intervene in a suicidal crisis and save lives! Your sponsorship or ticket purchases will go directly to making these training opportunities possible and supporting the survivor community in your area.

Hole sponsorships are available for local businesses or individuals for $150 and will include advertisement at the hole! Teams for the tournament are $400 ($100 per player). We will offer prizes for the top two teams and lunch at the turn.

In 2025, we have already trained over 300 community members, including healthcare workers, case managers, therapists, teachers, emergency responders, and parents! For Suicide Prevention month in September, we are scheduled to train mental health professionals on how to assess and manage suicide risk in their patients. We’ve trained local organizations including the Children’s Advocacy Center, the Community Action Agency of Northeast Alabama, Marked 4 Life, and the DeKalb Youth Services Center! Your donation truly saves lives and prevents families from experiencing the devastating effects of suicide. Suicide Awareness Means HOPE!
