Join us for a night of fun under the stars! The mission of the SAM Foundation is to prevent suicide through public awareness and education by equipping our communities with the skills to intervene in a suicidal crisis. Our hope is to change the way our communities view mental health and serve as a resource to those who have been affected by suicide, therefore making our communities more suicide safe. The SAM Foundation believes all members of communities play a vital role in suicide prevention. Through our evidence-based trainings, the SAM Foundation reaches a variety of community members, corporate groups, educators, first responders and mental health professionals. The SAM Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)3, that provides evidence-based training programs to many GA community organizations and professionals such as Chris180, Summit Counseling Center, and Cobb Collaborative. The SAM Foundation organizes public events that bring together individuals from all walks of life to raise awareness and reduce the stigma surrounding mental health issues. These events serve as a powerful reminder of the importance of dialogue, empathy, and community support in preventing suicide. These events generate significant resources that have been utilized towards our mission of preventing suicide and providing much-needed support to those affected by it.
