We are partnering with United Way of Lee County to provide an AMSR (Assessing and Managing Suicide Risk) training on Monday, July 13th. This training covers core suicide prevention competencies for health and behavioral health professionals working in outpatient settings. This 6.5 hour training event will begin at 8:30 am CT, include a 1 hour lunch break, and end by 4:00 pm CT. I have also attached a flyer with these details. This event provides 6 CEUs! The AMSR training is expensive and greatly desired by many mental health professionals, so we are incredibly grateful United Way is providing this opportunity for a significantly reduced cost. Our AMSR Training program offers the following course objectives:
-Increased knowledge in maintaining an effective attitude and approach, collecting accurate assessment information, formulating risk, developing a treatment and service plan, and managing care.
-Increased willingness, confidence, and clarity in working with individuals at risk for suicide.
-Increased ability to identify how they can better care for individuals at risk for suicide
*You must be present the entire training to receive education hours (6.5)*
